Shawn McDonald (formerly Shawn Lisa Collins) is a licensed esthetician with the State Board of California since 1986. She has been caring for others with touch for over 30 years. In the early 1990's Shawn became a pioneer in the field of medical esthetics working with a team of elite plastic surgeons in Los Angeles. Shawn was fortunate enough to receive many hours of one-on-one training from Christina Carlino, the co-founder of Biomedic and the Micropeel. This training allowed Shawn to develop her expertise in dermaplaning, also known as epidermal leveling.
Shawn has continued to work on the forefront as a medical esthetician and has expanded her treatment repertoire to include micro-pigmentation, medical grade chemical peels, and post-surgical camouflage make-up. This is just a few areas in which Shawn excels.
